Yea Tonsai is more of a climber/backpackers beach, its much cheaper, better people/conversations too. If you stay in Tonsai, you will be able to find climbing partners very easily. Go across the lagoon, walk through the cave like boulder field, swim to the left 100m, and you will find amazing high tide bouldering on a shelf with stalactites, big ledges to rest on, and clean landings.
