Push the rock basketball. Carl enjoys playing basketball and other sports having played football, basketball and track & field in high school; and soccer, basketball and baseball in college. In July, Push The Rock ran our inaugural boys’ basketball camp amongst the Navajo, partnering with the CDC to reach the children of program participants. Duane was one of the volunteer helpers at the camp. Using the powerful platform of sports, Push The Rock impacts young athletes’ self-confidence, builds sportsmanship and Christian character, and improves athletic skills while sharing the hope and love of Jesus. Given the successful collaboration, we are now talking with Jean Carlo about joining the PTR Costa Rica team to lead the basketball program in Pavas. This non-denominational, faith-based program serves children from Pre-K and Kindergarten through 8th grade, combining a love for basketball with a commitment to Biblical principles. O.
