Dec 17, 1998 · There is a public boat ramp on Hwy 35 just before you get to Cape Carancahua. They are also similiar in other ways, one thing that is a big difference is price. I have found that the Explorer is more expensive and does not carry a warrenty as good as Bluewave. Pretty sure there is still one a little ways up the creek at a bait camp (haven't used it in years). ANWR allows wade fishing from April 15 - Oct 15 (when Whooping Cranes aren't present).
